Rev. Paul Chu was born in Beijing. He graduated from a prestigious university in China, and dedicated his life to the academy. In June 1989, as a participant, witness, and survivor, he experienced first-hand the Tiananmen Square pro-democracy movement in Beijing and the massacre that followed. He arrived in America in December 1989, which was a major turning point in his life. There, he converted from an atheist to a Christian. This is a brief story of his path back to God.
